Inaugural Address: "This is aimed for history," Bush said. "People, I think, will applaud."

He promised to bring civility and compassion to Washington and asked Americans to be "citizens, not spectators; citizens, not subjects." There were references to his faith. "We are guided by a power larger than ourselves," he said. (I'm wondering who's he's talking about since "god" has been outlawed in all courthouses, The pledge of Aliegence and anything to do with government - who is Bush refering to here - the Chinese, Big Business, Oil Maggots??)

The original Pledge of Allegiance for the United States, before the time of Joe McCarthy* and the American "witch hunts" added god to the USA's money and pledge. (America - Founded on Freedom of Religion: as long as it's based on christianity.)
Bush's inaugural address was light on specifics and heavy on high-minded symbolism. He pledged to reform "great institutions to serve the needs of our time."(Raise Fuel Prices Sky High - Start Wars - Spy On Citizens)
