ONE WARMONGER DOWN............."Another One Bites The Dust"

Bush says Rumsfeld is stepping down - damn, and he was soo much fun to bash. Unfortunately I think he's left behind deeper scares than Killer Kissinger.

US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld leaves the stage after an October 2006 briefing at the Pentagon. Rumsfeld stayed out of sight after a massive Republican defeat in legislative elections seen as a vote for a change of course in Iraq.

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, the controversial face of U.S. war policy, quit on Wednesday after Democrats rode Americans' anger over Iraq to victory in Tuesday's congressional elections.

Asked whether his announcement signaled a new direction in the war that has claimed the lives of more than 2,800 U.S. troops, Bush said, "Well, there's certainly going to be new leadership at the Pentagon."

To the end, Bush defended Rumsfeld's troubled tenure, calling him "a patriot who served this country with honor and distinction."

"I recognize that many Americans voted last night to register their displeasure with the lack of progress being made" in Iraq, the president said. "Yet I also believe most Americans — and leaders here in Washington from both political parties — understand we cannot accept defeat."

He seemed stoic about the election, proclaiming "this isn't my first rodeo." (ANOTHER WORDS - I'll WAGER HE'S STILL GOT SHIT UP HIS SLEEVE THAT WILL SCREW US OVER AND WE WILL END UP LOOSING MORE PERSONAL RIGHTS. WE ARE WATCHING BIG BROTHER FORMING RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES)

Hasn't Bush gone through more staff and cabinet members than any other president in history? And remember, we're not fighting in Iraq for freedom or against terrorism, we are fighting for OIL.

And while I'm at it - just think what might be if the billions of dollars that are going towards a so called war - were spent instead on ways to develop other sources of "safe" energy? Or, how about really helping victims of natural disasters and help defray the cost of prosecuting those that take advantage of relief funds - or Medicare, shall I continue?
